Sophie Bai

Co-President

Sophie is a second-year student at HBS. She spent her summer as a Vice President at Bain Capital Private Equity in Boston. Prior to HBS, Sophie was a management consultant at the Boston Consulting Group. Sophie graduated from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) with a B.S. in Chemical Engineering and a concentration in Biomedical Engineering.

Natalie Knipp

Co-President

Natalie is a second-year student at HBS. Prior to HBS, Natalie was a private equity associate at Trilantic Capital Partners in New York. She previously worked for Citigroup’s investment banking division in the Mergers & Acquisitions group, also in New York. Natalie graduated with distinction from the University of Virginia’s McIntire School of Commerce, with a concentration in Finance and Accounting.

Arting is a second-year student at HBS. Prior to HBS, Arting was a private equity associate at AEA Investors in New York. She previously worked for J.P. Morgan’s investment banking division, also in New York. Arting graduated from University of California, Berkeley summa cum laude with degrees in Psychology & Business.

Thomas Orr

Chief Operating Officer

Thomas is a first-year student at HBS. Prior to HBS, Thomas was a private equity associate at The Carlyle Group in New York. He previously worked for Moelis & Company’s investment banking division, also in New York. Thomas graduated with high distinction from the Stephen M. Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan with a Bachelor in Business Administration.

Matt Marotta

Matt is a first-year student at HBS. Prior to HBS, Matt was a senior associate at HarbourVest Partners in Boston. He previously worked for investment consulting firm Cambridge Associates. Matt graduated from Harvard College cum laude with degrees in Government and Romance Languages & Literatures.

Mariapaola Testa

Chief Marketing Officer

Mariapaola is a first-year student at HBS. Prior to HBS, Mariapaola was a consultant at BCG in London, where she worked for the PE practice and for BCG Digital Ventures. She previously supported the international expansion of Ocado, a leading UK e-commerce retailer, and worked as a data scientist in Boston. Mariapaola holds an MS in Operations Research from MIT and a BS in Engineering, graduating summa cum laude, from Politecnico di Milano.

Eitan Chemerinski

Chief Financial Officer & PE Tech Panel Captain

Eitan is a first-year student at HBS. Prior to HBS, Eitan was a Private Equity Senior Associate at New Hope Group in Beijing. He previously worked for Oppenheimer’s investment banking division in New York and PwC’s banking and capital markets practice, also in New York. Eitan graduated from Cornell University, magna cum laude, with a B.S. in Applied Economics and Management and a minor in East Asian Studies.

Jakob Blomqvist

Jakob is a first-year student at HBS. Prior to HBS, Jakob was an associate in Global Emerging Markets at Goldman Sachs, most recently in the Special Situations Group in New York City. He previously worked in Structuring and Sales within Fixed Income, Currency, and Commodities (FICC) at Goldman Sachs. Jakob graduated with distinction from Duke University as a Robertson Scholar, concentrating in International Political Economy.

Rob Delaney

Rob is a first-year student at HBS and a JD/MBA Candidate at Harvard. Rob spent his summer as a Summer Associate at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher, & Flom in its Tax and Mergers & Acquisitions groups. Prior to HBS, Rob was a Military Intelligence Officer in the United States Army. Rob graduated with honors from the United States Military Academy at West Point with a degree in Mathematics.

Jess is a first-year student at HBS. Prior to HBS, Jess was a private equity associate at Prospect Hill Growth Partners (formerly J.W. Childs Associates) in Boston. She previously worked for Deloitte Corporate Finance (formerly McColl Partners) as an investment banking analyst in Charlotte. Jess graduated with distinction from the University of Virginia’s McIntire School of Commerce, with a concentration in Finance and Accounting.

Anna is a first-year student at HBS. Prior to HBS, Anna was a private equity associate at HGGC in Palo Alto, CA. She previously worked in Bank of America Merrill Lynch’s investment banking and debt capital markets divisions in San Francisco, CA and Charlotte, NC, respectively. Anna graduated magna cum laude from Davidson College with degrees in Economics and Hispanic Studies.

Johannes is a first-year student at HBS. Prior to HBS, Johannes worked on Operations and Growth Strategy for different Chinese Technology companies in Beijing (Mobike/Meituan, Bytedance). He was previously a Business Analyst at McKinsey in Munich and Shanghai. Johannes graduated from the University of St. Gallen with degrees in Economics and Business.

She also worked at Lazard and the investment banking division of Bank of America Merrill Lynch, also in New York. Giang graduated from Smith College, magna cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa, with a B.A. in Economics and Mathematics.

Brett is a first-year student at HBS. Prior to HBS, Brett was a Vice President in the Special Situations Group at Goldman Sachs in New York, where he helped invest the firm’s balance sheet capital across debt and equity securities of middle market companies. Brett graduated from Southern Methodist University where he received degrees in Finance and Accounting and was a four-year letterman on the football team.

He previously worked at Goldman Sachs in their Tech, Media and Telecom investment banking group, also in New York. Sid graduated from the University of Western Ontario’s Richard Ivey School of Business as an Ivey Scholar.

He previously worked in health care investment banking at Lake Street Capital Markets.
